Beyond the Clinic Room is founded by Dr Charis Green, Clinical Psychologist with 10 years experience working within mental health in the NHS, and trained Equine Assisted Therapist.

Beyond the Clinic Room offers Equine and Canine Assisted Psychological Therapies, combining the therapeutic power of animals, in nature, with the high level of knowledge and experience of a Clinical Psychologist.

At the heart of our therapeutic approach is building safe relationships and trauma informed care, for both our clients and our animals. We take things at your pace, to explore things when you are ready. Our clients and our animals are equally important to us – you can be safe in the knowledge that we focus highly on both equine welfare and wellbeing, and ensuring that therapy is safe, effective, and facilitated by a professionally registered clinician.
