Who are we and what do we do?
Welcome to Progressive Equine Partnerships! We are a community of Equine Professionals and establishments who prioritise ethical practice with the welfare of the equine at the core of what we do. As a progressive organisation, we strive to incorporate new ideas and modern methods to improve Equine care and training, moving away from traditional practice. Founded in 2021, we network Equine Professionals who believe in pain and fear free practice.
At Progressive Equine Partnerships, we have set a minimum criteria for members who agree to abide by our guiding principles. We define pain free as avoiding any equipment, methods, or techniques that are physically painful to the equine. Fear free means taking measures to reduce our Equine’s emotional stress, anxiety and fears, as well as not using these as a motivator.
As a member of Progressive Equine Partnerships, we provide a platform for your ethical practice. We offer an online directory that lets you display your business details, credentials, social media links and images for potential clients to view. Our clients leave reviews to promote accountability and transparency among our members. We offer a variety of categories, including but not limited to, Holistic therapy, Equine training/instructors/coaches, Saddle Fitters, and Hoof care. We welcome applications outside these categories as well.
Our Kitemark of Ethical Practice logo speaks for itself. Members can display this on their marketing materials, social media, and websites.
Through our blog, we promote ethical practices relevant to us and our members. We also provide a platform for guest posts. If you have written an article you would like to share, please contact us.
Our “Be the Change” campaign encourages mindful horsemanship. At PEP, we ask that you consider the physical and emotional effect of the Equine in every interaction mindfully, with integrity, and ethical values that avoid pain and fear.
We’re excited about the progressiveness of our members and hope you will join us in ethical Equine care and training. If you would like to know more, please contact us at admin@progressiveequinepartnerships.com.
